SWAG Live is a leading global media and entertainment company that produces and distributes premium adult streaming content to worldwide audiences across both web and app platforms. SWAG Live continues to grow its global footprint and is looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with various team to understand data needs
- Design and implement scalable data workflows and pipelines from a variety of internal and external sources
- Educate others on best practices of data modeling
- Build visualizations and tools to view and access data
Minimum Qualifications
- Python development experience (5+ years)
- In-depth knowledge of SQL or no-SQL databases
- Experience with Data modeling (3+ years)
- Experience working with workflow frameworks (3+ years)
- i.e. Airflow, Luigi, digdag, Dataflow
- Experience with cloud based big data platforms
- i.e Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, etc
- Experience working on data lakes and data warehouses
- Experience with streaming data
- Mentor experience
- Experience with mongo
- Experience working on mission critical systems at scale
- Team leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with developing for end-user business logic
- Active in the open-source community
- Experience with data practices (security, data management and governance)
- Experience in machine learning
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience on Google Cloud
